How Do I Connect to a Discord Phone Server?

Discord is a popular communication platform that allows users to connect with others through text, voice, and video. One of the features that sets Discord apart from other communication platforms is its phone server capability. In this tutorial, we will explore how to connect to a Discord phone server.

Step 1: Install Discord

If you haven’t already, start by installing Discord on your device. Discord is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Visit the official Discord website to download and install the application.

Step 2: Create or Join a Server

To connect to a phone server on Discord, you need to either create your own server or join an existing one. If you already have a server where the phone feature is enabled, proceed to Step 3. Otherwise, follow these steps:

2. In the left sidebar, click on the plus icon (+) next to “Servers”.

1. In your Discord server, locate the list of voice channels in the left sidebar.

2. Click on a voice channel you want to join. If no voice channels are visible, right-click on an empty space in the left sidebar and select “Create Channel” to create a new voice channel.

3. A popup window will appear.

   Enter a name for your voice channel and click on the “Create Channel” button.

4. You will now be connected to the selected voice channel. You can see a list of users who are currently connected to that channel.

Step 4: Make Phone Calls

Now that you are connected to a voice channel, you can start making phone calls within Discord. Follow these steps:

1. In your Discord server, locate the list of users connected to the voice channel you joined.

2. Find and click on the username of the person you want to call. This will open a direct message conversation with that person.

3. In the conversation window, click on the phone icon at the top right corner to initiate a voice call.

4. If the person you are calling is available, they will receive a notification and can choose to accept or decline your call.

5. If the call is accepted, you can now communicate with the other person through voice.
