How Do I Change Discord PFP to Only One Server?

//

Heather Bennett

In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to change your profile picture (PFP) on Discord for only one server. Sometimes, you may want to have a different profile picture for a specific server, while keeping your default one for all other servers. Discord allows you to customize your PFP on a per-server basis, and we will show you how to do it step by step.

Step 1: Open Discord and Select the Server

To change your PFP for only one server, start by opening Discord and selecting the server where you want to make the change. You can do this by clicking on the server’s name in the left sidebar.

Step 2: Access Server Settings

Once you are in the desired server, locate the server name at the top left corner of the screen. Right-click on it or click on the small down arrow beside it to open a drop-down menu.

From this menu, select “Server Settings. “

Step 3: Go to “User Management”

In the Server Settings window, look for “User Management” in the left sidebar. Click on it to expand its options.

Step 4: Manage Your Nickname

In the expanded “User Management” section, you will see several options including “Change Nickname” and “Roles.” Look for “Change Nickname” and click on it.

Step 5: Change Your Profile Picture

A new window will appear where you can modify your nickname. Below your current nickname, there will be an option that says “Profile Picture.” Click on it.

Note:

If you haven’t uploaded a custom profile picture yet, this option might say something like “Upload Picture” or “Set Profile Picture.”

Step 6: Choose a New Profile Picture

A pop-up window will appear, displaying your current profile picture. Click on the “Remove” button to delete your current PFP.

You will then have two options:

  • Upload a New Picture: Click on the “Upload” button to select a new image file from your computer. Choose an image that you want to use as your profile picture for this specific server.
  • Use Default Avatar: If you prefer to use Discord’s default avatar instead of uploading a custom picture, click on the “Default” tab and choose one of the available options.

Step 7: Save Changes

After selecting a new profile picture or default avatar, click on the “Save” button to apply the changes. Discord will update your PFP for this particular server while keeping your original profile picture intact for other servers.

Note:

If you want to revert back to your original profile picture for this server in the future, you can follow these steps again and either upload a new image or choose one of Discord’s default avatars.

Congratulations! You have successfully changed your profile picture for only one server in Discord. Enjoy customizing your appearance and expressing yourself in different communities!
