Adding emojis to your Discord server name can add a touch of personality and creativity to your online community. Whether you want to express your excitement, show support for a cause, or simply have fun with your server’s name, emojis are a great way to do it. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of adding emojis to your Discord server name.

Step 1: Open Discord

To get started, open the Discord application on your desktop or mobile device. Log in to your account if you haven’t already.

Step 2: Select Your Server

Once you’re logged in, select the server where you want to add emojis to the server name. You need to have the necessary permissions (i.e., administrator) for that server.

Step 3: Open Server Settings

In the top-left corner of the screen, you’ll find the server name. Right-click on it and select “Server Settings” from the context menu that appears.

Step 4: Edit Server Name

In the Server Settings menu, locate and click on the “Change Server Name” option. A text box will appear where you can edit the server’s name.

Note:

You can only add emojis at the beginning or end of a server name and not in between words.

Step 5: Find an Emoji

To find an emoji that you want to add, there are several options available:

  • You can use websites like Emojipedia (https://emojipedia.org/) or Get Emoji (https://getemoji.com/) to search for specific emojis.
  • If you’re using Discord on a mobile device, you can use your device’s built-in emoji keyboard to select the emojis.
  • Discord also has its own emoji picker. To access it, click on the smiley face icon next to the server name text box. This will open a menu with various categories of emojis.

Step 6: Add an Emoji

Once you’ve found the emoji you want to add, simply copy it. You can do this by right-clicking on the emoji and selecting “Copy” or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C (Command+C on Mac).

Step 7: Paste Emoji in Server Name

Go back to the server name text box in Discord’s Server Settings menu and paste the emoji. You can do this by right-clicking and selecting “Paste” or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (Command+V on Mac).

Step 8: Save Changes

After adding the emoji to your server name, make sure everything looks as intended. If you’re satisfied, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of Discord’s Server Settings menu to apply the changes.

Note:

Different emojis may appear differently based on the platform and device being used.

Congratulations! You have successfully added an emoji to your Discord server name. Feel free to experiment with different emojis and combinations to make your server name truly unique and expressive.

Remember: Emojis can help enhance your server’s identity, but use them wisely and in moderation so as not to overwhelm or confuse your community members.

Happy Discord-ing!
