Can You Screen Share on Discord Server?

How to Screen Share on Discord Server
Step 1: Before you can start screen sharing on Discord, make sure you have the desktop application installed on your computer. Screen sharing is not available on the web or mobile versions of Discord.
Step 2: Open the Discord application and log in to your account.
Step 3: Join a server or create a new one. To join a server, click on the plus icon (+) next to “Server” in the left sidebar.
If you want to create a new server, click on the plus icon (+) next to “Server” and select “Create a Server. “
Step 4: Once you are in a server, navigate to the voice channel where you want to screen share. If there isn’t already a voice channel created, click on the plus icon (+) next to “Voice Channels” and create a new one.
Step 5: In the voice channel, click on the “Go Live” button located at the bottom left of your screen. A popup window will appear with options for what you want to share.
Selecting What to Share
If you want to share your entire screen, click on the “Screen” option. This will allow you to share your entire desktop, including any open windows or applications.
If you only want to share a specific application or window, click on the “Application” option. A list of currently open applications and windows will appear, allowing you to select the one you want to share.
Note: If you are using multiple monitors, Discord will give you the option to choose which monitor or screen you want to share.
Screen Share Controls
Once you have selected what you want to share, the screen sharing session will begin. You will see a small preview of your shared screen at the bottom left of your screen. Here are some controls you can use during a screen sharing session:
- Mute Audio: Click on the microphone icon at the bottom left of the screen sharing window to mute or unmute your audio.
- Stop Sharing: To stop sharing your screen, click on the “Stop Sharing” button located at the bottom right of your screen.
- Switch Cameras: If you have multiple cameras connected to your computer, click on the camera icon at the bottom left of the screen sharing window to switch between them.
